Yuehai Culture and Sports Center Design

The Yuehai Culture and Sports Center in Shenzhen, China, designed by MENG YAN | URBANUS, is a 5761 m² project scheduled for completion in 2025. It is categorized as Sports Architecture and Cultural Center.

The center is situated in Shenzhen's Yuehai community, an area characterized by high-rise residential buildings, schools, and commercial complexes.

Unlike traditional complexes that often separate programs to avoid conflicts, this design aims to foster public interaction.

The architects note that open spaces around buildings, where chance encounters occur, often become the most vibrant urban areas.
