ESP32 CYD Board Transformed into a Mini TV

The Cheap Yellow Display (CYD), an ESP32 board with a touchscreen, has been repurposed into a mini television by developer [Nickm324]. This project builds upon previous ESP32 endeavors.

The new mini TV project utilizes the CYD's BOOT button for a single-button interface. It supports various "channels," each playing different media from an SD card.

The device appears to play synchronized .mjpeg video and audio files, likely due to limitations of the older ESP32 chip on the CYD. A retro 3D-printed TV case is featured, though not yet linked.

This project simplifies the creation of a mini TV with minimal wiring, leveraging the CYD's integrated features. While a novelty, potential non-novelty applications are suggested.
