World of WearableArt Competition 'GLO!' Showcases Global Creativity
The World of WearableArt (WOW) competition, established in 1987, invites international artists to create ambitious garments blending avant-garde style, technology, and performance.

This year's show, titled 'GLO!', features designs inspired by cultural traditions, nature, futurism, and fantasy. Kayla Christensen of New Zealand won the top prize for "Sacred Nightfall," a floral garment referencing Indigenous ceremonial cloaks.
Other notable entries include "Enchantress" by Ashish Dhaka and an iridescent insect design by Katherine Bertram.
The performances of 'GLO!' are ongoing through October 4 at TBS Arena in Wellington, New Zealand.
