Global Farms Reshaped by Reduced Meat Consumption

The study predicts that by 2050, cattle production could decrease by half. This would free up vast grasslands, potentially used for renewable energy or rewilding. Land for fruits, vegetables, nuts, and legumes might increase by 1.5 million square kilometers, while land for grains could decrease similarly.
