WA SSL House by AZAZ Architects

AZAZ Architects designed WA SSL House, a private retreat in Saudi Arabia, intended as a family gathering space and a counterpoint to urban life.

Located on a cliff edge overlooking the Alwasseel valley in Al Jubaylah, the 100 m² house is scheduled for completion in 2025.

The project was conceived by a family seeking a place of gathering and retreat, a contrast to the fast pace of city living.

Designed in memory of their late father, the house is an architectural interpretation of his former farmhouse, symbolizing childhood, togetherness, landscape, and a slower pace of life.
