Vivo X500 phones in Europe early November

Smartphone maker vivo is launching its X500 models in Europe in early November. The manufacturer previously announced the devices for the Chinese market.

The European release will initially focus on the X500 Pro and Pro Max, the two most expensive variants. It is unclear whether the standard X500 will also become available.

The X500 Pro and Pro Max succeed the X300 series, which previously appeared in the Netherlands and Belgium. The X500 Pro has a 6,36-inch OLED screen, while the Pro Max has a larger 6,85-inch OLED screen.

The cameras are a key feature. Both models feature a 200-megapixel main camera with a 1/1,28-inch sensor and a dynamic range of 17 stops. The Pro Max adds a 200-megapixel telephoto camera with 3,5x optical zoom and an ultrawide camera with a 50-megapixel sensor.

The X500 Pro and Pro Max are expected in Europe on 5 November. Details on availability in the Netherlands and Belgium, as well as the recommended retail prices, are not yet known. These models are positioned below vivo's Ultra series.
