Varanda House by Esquadra Arquitetos

Esquadra Arquitetos designed Varanda House, a 500 m² residence completed in 2024 in Brasília, Brazil. The project emphasizes integration with the natural landscape.

The design was inspired by the site's existing native vegetation, including Cerrado trees like paineiras. The house is situated on a large, gently sloping lot.

Key collaborators included Guido Saboya, Gabriela Medeiros, and Soledad Hurtado. Engenil managed the construction, while Bontempo Brasília handled carpentry. Landscape architecture was provided by Quinta Arquitetura.
