iPhone Camera Lens Upgrade
A maker has upgraded their iPhone camera with a custom-machined lens mount, allowing for the use of higher-quality C-mount and EF-mount lenses.

The project improves upon a previous iteration where a C-mount lens was glued to the phone. This new version features a brass mount designed to accommodate two of the phone's cameras, leaving the third unmodified. The mount is secured with epoxy.
The upgrade also includes 3D-printed lens covers for protection and a machined tripod thread on the bottom of the mount.
The maker demonstrated the setup using both C-mount and EF-mount lenses, noting that the EF-mount lenses result in a significantly longer effective focal length.
