Under the Drying Nets Pavilion
Multi-Architecture has designed an installation for the "Yugengyueyun Section--Fishing and Farming Cabanas 2.0" zone in Nanhai, China, as part of the Art at Qiaoshan – Art Field Nanhai 2026 event.

The project, with an area of 180 m², is scheduled for completion in 2026. It is led by architects Jin Yuan, Chen Li, and Ji Shaomin, with structural consulting from iStructure.
Nanhai is historically known for its "mulberry-dike-fish-pond" system, a sustainable cycle where mulberry trees on dikes support silkworm farming, and fish are raised in ponds, creating a mutually beneficial environment.
In this context, fishing nets are not just tools for catching fish but also represent a common, natural element of daily labor when they are hung out to dry.
