Üç Haclı Kilise (Three Crosses Church) in Turkey

Üç Haclı Kilise, also known as the Three Crosses church, is a rock-carved structure located in the Red Valley of Turkey. It is believed to have housed a monastic community.

The church, though heavily eroded, may have been carved as early as the 600s AD. It features tenth-century frescoes depicting Jesus as ruler of the world and his baptism, alongside religious carvings like large Latin crosses on the ceiling.

Access to the church requires hiking through the Red Valley and climbing a precarious wooden ladder to reach the cave rooms containing the frescoes. A nearby juice bar offers refreshments.
