Actiu Updates TNK500 Task Chair with Metallic Finishes and Lighter Frame

Spanish brand Actiu, in collaboration with Alegre Design, has introduced the TNK500 Aurea, an updated version of its 15-year-old TNK500 task chair, focusing on enhanced ergonomics, aesthetics, and sustainability.

The TNK500 Aurea features a new aluminium structure designed for increased lightness and durability. It is available in metallic finishes such as bronze, copper, and titanium, alongside standard black, white, and polished options.

The chair retains the ergonomic features of its predecessor, including a self-weighting synchronised mechanism for quick adjustment and a tilt lockable in four backrest positions for customization.

Comfort is enhanced by Actiu's Air Comfort System, which incorporates internal air chambers in the seat foam to support posture.

Sustainability is a key aspect, with the chair constructed from nearly 60% recycled materials and being over 82% recyclable at the end of its lifespan.
