Tianlai Art Museum Renovation

A private commission to honor parents and ancestral home has led to the creation of the Tianlai Art Museum in Taiwan, transforming personal memory into a public exhibition space.

The project, designed by Mao, Shen-Chiang Architecture Studio, is located in Puzi City and covers an area of 133 m², with completion anticipated in 2025.

Due to the severe deterioration of the original old house, a complete reconstruction was undertaken rather than a renovation. This approach ensures the building's longevity and its role in preserving the family's connection to the land.
