Araksa Tea Garden Tea Boutique

A new tea boutique has been completed at the Araksa Tea Garden in Chiang Mai, Thailand, designed by Simple Architecture and thirteenthree. The garden is one of Thailand's oldest, established in 1941.

The estate covers 111 acres, with approximately 50 acres dedicated to Assam tea plants that were left undisturbed for 15 years. This unique cultivation contributes to the production of high-quality organic tea.

The completion of the original Araksa Tea House in 2018 saw a significant increase in the estate's popularity as a tourist destination.

The new tea boutique, part of the retail category, has a total area of 210 m² and was completed in 2024. Lead architects for the project include Jan Glasmeier, with Cathleen Wing Kee and John Lim as lead interior designers.
