Obama Presidential Center Opens in Chicago

A new video offers a glimpse inside the recently opened Obama Presidential Center in Chicago, USA. Designed by Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects, the complex on Chicago's South Side welcomed the public in June.

The center features a 69-meter-tall granite tower housing a multi-floor exhibition dedicated to former President Barack Obama, designed by Ralph Appelbaum Associates. The tower includes a Skyroom with city views.

Adjacent to the tower are lower buildings surrounding a central plaza. These buildings contain a Chicago Public Library branch, an auditorium, and a restaurant. The buildings are topped with landscaped gardens that integrate with Jackson Park, originally designed by Frederick Law Olmsted.
