Nintendo DSi Can Stream Games Over Network
A new homebrew project allows the Nintendo DSi to stream games from a PC, potentially extending its usability.

The RNDS-Stream project decodes an MJPEG stream from a Linux PC, displaying an X11 or xWayland window on the DSi with low latency at approximately 15-20 frames per second. This enables the playing of casual games like Counterstrike on the older handheld.
Currently, the project does not support audio streaming, but this feature is planned for future development. RNDS-Stream is a work in progress and a demonstration of RubyNDS, a Ruby-based homebrew framework for the DSi.
The project is available on GitHub under an MIT license. The Nintendo DSi has a history of being modified by hackers, though homebrew development for the dual-screen device has been relatively limited.
