MK Designers' Handle Table Features Stained Bamboo and Concealed Storage
Marek Kounovský of MK Designers has created the Handle Table, a bamboo coffee table for Frayer that incorporates hidden storage, embodying the principle of 'just enough'.

The design focuses on balancing function, material, and form without superfluous elements. It draws inspiration from the Japanese concept of hodo-hodo, emphasizing moderation and balance.
The table's minimalist form highlights its proportions, material, and construction. An integrated compartment offers storage for daily items without compromising the table's aesthetic.
An oil-based wood stain, developed through experimental application methods, is used on the bamboo surface. This finish enhances the material's natural texture and tactile qualities while keeping its structure visible.
The Handle Table was initially showcased at the 14th Czech Design Week in Prague.
