XnView 2.52.6 update fixes security issues

A new version of the free image software XnView has been released, version 2.52.6.

XnView can open and convert more than 500 image formats and is available in more than 40 languages. It is free for individuals and non-profit organizations. There are three versions: minimal, standard, and complete, which differ in languages, supported formats, and the included NConvert tool.

NConvert performs the same operations as XnView, but can do so in bulk and via the command line. This update fixes two security issues, identified by researchers from Fraunhofer SIT and ASU SEFCOM.
