Mozilla Firefox 156.0.1 update

Mozilla has released an update for its Firefox web browser, version 156.0.1. This update brings various improvements and bug fixes.

In version 156, the PDF viewer starts faster, less processor power and memory are used when displaying large JPG images, and Firefox on macOS can automatically open when the computer starts up.

Furthermore, various issues have been resolved, including a bug where the NVDA screen reader did not announce buttons in the address bar. Also, elements within a link were not displayed correctly with CSS :active styles during clicking.

The update also fixes issues where Firefox did not respond on pages with CSS anchor positioning and where Firefox windows on macOS were immediately maximized again after restoring.

In addition, a system handle leak on Windows that occurred when content processes were started and stopped has been fixed.
