SDR–: A Modular Synth-like Interface for Software-Defined Radio
A new software-defined radio program, SDR–, offers an intuitive interface for building radio setups by connecting functional blocks, similar to a modular synthesizer.

Developed by Julian Haag, SDR– allows users to visually construct their radio configurations by dragging and dropping functional blocks such as radios, demodulators, and speakers.
These blocks are then connected using virtual patch cables to route signals, creating a user-friendly and simplified approach to SDR configuration.
The tool comes pre-loaded with numerous decoders for immediate use, including support for ADS-B, POCSAG, SSTV, DAB, and RDS.
Additionally, SDR– includes features for passive radar and direction finding, enabling users to explore more advanced radio experiments.
The source code for SDR– is available on GitHub for those interested in examining or contributing to the project.
