Red Submarine Cabin: A Modular Dwelling

Wiki World has designed the Red Submarine Cabin, a modular spatial system intended as a "Plug-in for the Wild." This dwelling utilizes Digital Wood technology for precise fabrication and aims for nomadic freedom.

The cabin is designed as a high-performance, zero-footprint, and plug-and-play dwelling, offering versatile materials and functions suitable for any landscape. It is intended to be placed in remote locations without causing environmental damage.

The project, located in Wuhan, China, has an area of 20 m² and is scheduled for completion in 2026. Key collaborators include architects Mu Wei, Feng Zhaoxian, Wu Baorong, He Wen, Xu Xiaodong, Liao Xiaotian, Wang Yuanying, and Chen Liang. Construction is handled by Wiki World and Natong Jiazhu Wood Industry, with wood supplied from Finland and processed by Fuhan Wood Industry and Natong Jiazhu Wood Industry. Washrooms are supplied by ELLAI, and isolation materials by Rothoblaas, Italy.
