RE_SOLUTION Series Features Former Lisbon Mayor Fernando Medina

IE School of Architecture & Design is launching its RE_SOLUTION public series for the 2026-27 edition with a lecture by Fernando Medina, former Mayor of Lisbon.

Medina, who served as Mayor of Lisbon from 2015 to 2021, will be followed by a discussion with Jo da Silva, Global Director of Sustainable Development at Arup.

The RE_SOLUTION series convenes former city leaders and experts to explore how cities tackle complex urban challenges. Discussions will focus on public infrastructure, transformative projects, policy, and collaboration among government, private sector, academia, and civil society.
