Kovr Studio's Bio-Based PLA+ Covers Redefine Light Switches
Kovr Studio has introduced modular switch covers designed to seamlessly integrate conventional light switches into interior design, addressing the common issue of standard white plates clashing with wall aesthetics.

These innovative covers can be installed and removed in seconds without the need for tools or adhesive, offering a simple solution to enhance the visual coherence of a room. Each cover is handcrafted in Kovr Studio's workshop in Lille, utilizing precision digital fabrication techniques combined with individual finishing for a unique, refined product.
The covers are constructed from PLA+, a bio-based plastic derived from corn starch. This material was chosen for its durability and flexibility, ensuring the covers can withstand repeated use while maintaining their form. The switch covers are designed to become an integral part of the interior's material composition, treating a small architectural detail as a key element of interior design.
