Masaya Launches Outdoor Cord Seating Collection
Furniture brand Masaya has introduced a new collection of outdoor rocking and lounge chairs designed by Abril Zepeda. The pieces are handcrafted in Nicaragua from solid teak and weather-resistant woven cord.

The Arenal Outdoor Rocking Chair and the Masaya Outdoor Lounge Chair feature FSC-certified solid teak frames, available in sealed or unfinished options. Designer Abril Zepeda specified handwoven cord for the seats, chosen for its natural resistance to weather and pests.
The woven seats utilize traditional techniques, combined with a modern timber frame design. The cord is available in various single-color and patterned finishes, all designed to be UV- and weather-resistant.
Zepeda aimed to create furniture that enhances comfort and aligns with how people live in their homes.
