Norman Foster to Keynote Dezeen Awards 2026 Party

Renowned architect Norman Foster will deliver the keynote speech at the Dezeen Awards 2026 party on November 16th at the Royal Opera House in London. He will discuss the future of architecture.

Foster, a leading figure in global architecture for six decades, heads Foster + Partners and the Norman Foster Foundation. His notable projects include the HSBC Building in Hong Kong, London Stansted Airport, Apple Park, and the Zayed National Museum.

He has received numerous accolades, including the RIBA Gold Medal, AIA Gold Medal, Pritzker Architecture Prize, and Praemium Imperiale. Three buildings designed by his studio have won the Stirling Prize.

Foster's foundation and his institute for sustainable cities, launched in 2024, aim to foster interdisciplinary thinking and research for future architects, designers, and urbanists.

Foster is also part of the Dezeen Awards 2026 architecture judging panel, alongside other industry leaders. This year's awards received submissions from over 90 countries.

Dezeen has announced the 392 shortlisted projects across architecture, interiors, and design categories. A public vote is open for attendees to select their favorite shortlisted projects.

Winners of the public vote will be announced before the November 16th party. Tickets for the event, which celebrates nominees and industry professionals, are currently on sale.

The Dezeen Awards 2026 are presented in partnership with Trimble, a global technology company focused on hardware and software solutions for the design and construction industries.
