NASA to Highlight Exploration and Science at International Astronautical Congress

NASA will participate in the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Antalya, Türkiye, from October 5-9, showcasing its leadership in human exploration, scientific advancements, and commercial space support.

The agency's delegation, led by Deputy Administrator Matt Anderson, will engage in plenary sessions, technical discussions, and media events. Key topics include the Artemis program for Moon and Mars exploration, responsible exploration under the Artemis Accords, and Earth observation cooperation.

Specific sessions will feature discussions on the Artemis II mission, space manufacturing for biotechnology and advanced materials, and "Trusted AI on Mars." NASA will also present preliminary lunar science findings from Artemis II.

Further presentations will cover organ-chip research for precision health in space and insights into the astronaut experience. NASA will host an exhibit detailing its contributions to space exploration and technological innovation.
