Mata do Paraíso Scout Park Project Announced

A new scouting park, Mata do Paraíso, is planned for Vila Franca de Xira, Portugal, aiming to address a deficit in scouting infrastructure within the municipality.

The project is promoted by the Municipality of Vila Franca de Xira and is co-financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).

The architecture firm Plano Humano Arquitectos is responsible for the design.

The project is scheduled for completion in 2026 and will cover an area of 355 m².

Key collaborators include João Morgado for photographs, Vitór Sá for coordination, and a project team comprising José Pedro Fernandes, Carolina Balsinha, Rui Sequeira, and Nancy Boleto.
