Lualdi Expands Offerings to Integrated Interior Architectural Systems

Italian company Lualdi, historically known for interior doors, is now developing comprehensive architectural systems for interior design, aiming to create cohesive and sophisticated spaces.

Lualdi's expanded offerings include partitioning and panelling systems, designed to organize spaces with elegance and clarity. The company views interior design as shifting from isolated objects to integrated systems that coordinate space, functions, and user experience.

The Framework system, designed by Piero Lissoni, treats walls as architectural infrastructure. It allows for the integration of doors, panels, fronts, and accessories like shelving, creating a modern interpretation of boiserie with materials such as glass, metal, and wood.

Framework enables the creation of custom solutions like walk-in wardrobes and workspaces with minimal structural intervention, adapting easily to complex geometries and providing a coherent language of surfaces and functions.
