Kaymana Wave Reception by Pablo Luna Studio

Pablo Luna Studio has designed the Kaymana Wave Reception in Uluwatu, Bali, a hospitality architecture project completed in 2026. The design, covering 22 m², draws inspiration from the visual of a breaking wave.

The architectural concept is a single, continuous curve intended to evoke the fluidity and immediacy of a wave's movement, creating a protective, cocoon-like space. The design aims to translate the energy, rhythm, and awe inspired by the ocean into a welcoming architectural form. Dolores Giribone served as the lead architect, with a design team including Alvaro Garcia, Ganda, Ni'mal Abdu P, Tania Sekar, and Yusron Saputra. Interior design was handled by Studio Ayni, and civil engineering and consulting by Pak Kutut Yasa.
