JQY House in Brazil by André Becker

The JQY House, designed by architect André Becker, is a residential project completed in 2023 in São Sebastião, Brazil. The design prioritizes the beach view, which serves as the focal point for the layout and atmosphere.

The 500 m² house is strategically positioned to maximize the ocean vista. Key areas such as the living room, dining room, veranda, and pool are all oriented towards the sea.

Two suites on the upper floor also offer direct sea views. The house is subtly elevated above the beach level, enhancing its connection to the surrounding environment.

The project involved a collaboration of professionals including Ricardo Karman for coordination, Raul Pereira for landscaping and pool design, Sandretec for electrical and plumbing, and Persolly for glass louvers. Construction was managed by Ricardo Peters and Fabio Popak.
