Handheld Scanner is a Radio Multi-tool

A compact device, the LakeShark scanner, integrates multiple radio functionalities into a portable unit.

The LakeShark is built upon the LilyGO T-Display P4, featuring an ESP32-P4 microcontroller and a 4.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen. It includes an SX1262 LoRa radio module, GPS, and a nine-axis Inertial Measurement Unit.

The device is further enhanced to connect with an RTL-SDR Blog V3 or V4, enabling a wide range of software-defined radio capabilities. This allows it to scan various transmissions, including P25 Phase 1 trunking, ADS-B, POCSAG, and FM broadcast radio.

Users can monitor radio frequencies, view a minimap displaying aircraft tracks, and utilize waterfall displays to analyze radio bands or detect nearby nRF24 devices.

Described as a versatile tool for radio enthusiasts, the LakeShark offers numerous functions in a pocket-sized form factor.
