Handheld Atari 2600 Features a CRT Screen
A creator has developed a handheld version of the Atari 2600 console, integrating its original circuitry with a small CRT screen.

Dubbed the µTari Go, this device is housed in a 3D-printed shell. It features buttons positioned similarly to a Game Boy and a cartridge slot above the screen.
The project utilizes the original Atari 2600 printed circuit board, shrunk down to fit within the handheld form factor. A small Sony CRT module serves as the display, and a speaker is included.
Instead of using disposable D-cell batteries, the µTari Go is powered by an external 12V jack, making it more practical for extended use. The creator notes that a USB-C power pack could also provide reasonable playing time, enhancing its portability.
