First smartphone with detachable action camera costs 1099 euros

Smartphone maker Ulefone is launching the RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro, the first smartphone with a detachable action camera. This camera can be disconnected from the phone and has its own battery and storage.

The action camera is connected to the housing via pogo pins and is thus powered. The camera has its own battery that allows forty minutes of filming and has 64GB of internal storage for recordings. Via a special app, the phone communicates with the action camera, with the image not appearing in the regular camera app. The phone itself is equipped with three additional cameras on the back.

The action camera films in a maximum of 2,7k resolution at 30 frames per second.
