ESA at the 77th International Astronautical Congress
The European Space Agency (ESA) is participating in the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Antalya, Türkiye, from October 5-9. The event, themed ‘The World Needs More Space,’ is expected to draw over 6,000 attendees.

ESA's exhibition, 'European Space Agency: Elevating the Future of Europe,' will showcase the agency’s latest mission results, achievements, and future ambitions, focusing on five key goals: protecting the planet, exploration, European autonomy, economic growth, and inspiration.
The IAC serves as a platform for strengthening global space cooperation and reinforcing ESA’s role as a leader and partner. Bilateral events and strategic initiatives will highlight ESA’s commitment to international collaboration, sustainable exploration, and ambitious missions.
The exhibition highlights how international cooperation is expanding Europe’s space capabilities, featuring joint missions like BepiColombo (ESA-JAXA), SMILE (ESA-Chinese Academy of Sciences), and future plans such as the Ramses mission to asteroid Apophis (ESA-JAXA).
Visitors will have opportunities to meet ESA experts and astronauts at the ESA booth throughout the week.
The Congress also aims to foster knowledge exchange and inspire the next generation of space professionals by bringing together students and professionals from around the world.
