Community Efforts Mitigate Electric Fence Deaths for Endangered Pangolins in Kenya

Electric fences have become a significant threat to Kenya's critically endangered giant ground pangolin population, causing 14 out of 15 recorded deaths since 2022. In response, local landowners are voluntarily modifying their fences to create safe passage for these animals.
