El Muro Pavilion

The El Muro Pavilion, winner of the 28th Arquine competition for MEXTRÓPOLI 2026 Festival in Mexico City, reinterprets a wall as an element of connection.

Designed by ARQLIQ arquitetura, Entremeios Arquitetura, Ismael Torrano, and Márcio Flávio Motta, the project features a 112 m² area and is slated for completion in 2026.

The pavilion's concept is a line cutting across the Alameda Central, near the Fountain of Mercury.

This 'wall' traverses three paths, aiming to transform a symbol of division into an experience of passage and encounter.
