Chieftec launches first CPU air coolers from 29 euro
Chieftec is expanding its range with three new CPU air coolers, two of which are now available for 29 euro. The models range from a low-profile cooler to a compact tower cooler, with a larger model still under development.

Chieftec presents its first three air coolers at IFA. The low-profile cooler CAC-S92PWM-LP45 and the tower model CAC-S90PWM-T120 will have a recommended retail price of 29 euro. The largest model, the CAC-S120PWM-T150, does not yet have a price and is still a prototype.
The three coolers, the CAC-S92PWM-LP45, CAC-S90PWM-T120, and CAC-S120PWM-T150, are the first to come to market after earlier prototypes. They have a simple black design without RGB lighting and feature a single fan. All models are compatible with both AMD and Intel CPUs. Specifically, the CAC-S92 supports sockets LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA-115x, AM4, and AM5. The CAC-S90 and CAC-S120 are also compatible with LGA1200 processors.
The CAC-S92 is a low-profile cooler with a height of 45mm, equipped with four heatpipes and a 92mm fan that can spin up to 2300rpm. This cooler is available immediately for 29 euro.
In October, the CAC-S90PWM-T120 will follow, also for 29 euro. This is a compact tower cooler, 117mm high, with four heatpipes through the aluminum heatsink and a 90mm fan that spins between 800 and 2400rpm.
The largest model, the CAC-S120PWM-T150, is 148mm high and has five heatpipes with a 120mm fan that spins between 500 and 2400rpm. The price and availability of this model are still unknown.
