New Music Tool for Game Boy: Drum Machina Go!
A new music creation tool, Drum Machina Go! (DMGo!), has been released for the original Nintendo Game Boy, offering chiptune artists another option for composing music on the classic console.

Developed by audiowanderer, DMGo! utilizes the Game Boy's four-bit audio engine, which includes two pulse channels, one waveform channel, and a noise channel. Each of these four channels features a 16-step sequencer.
The tool provides additional features such as an FX section, ADSR controls, and various filtering options to modify sound characteristics.
DMGo! includes sync capabilities through its link port, allowing connection with other Game Boys. It also offers PULSE OUT sync for integration with devices like Teenage Engineering Pocket Operators or KORG Volcas.
A notable feature is the 'MANGLING FX', which enables live manipulation and alteration of music using the D-pad and buttons.
Users can try Drum Machina Go! by loading it onto a flash cart or using it with an emulator.
