Dezeen Awards 2026 Design Shortlist Announced

Dezeen has revealed the design shortlist for the 2026 Dezeen Awards, featuring a diverse range of innovative projects from global designers and brands.

The shortlist includes notable entries such as a modular furniture system of upholstered balls by Golem, resin lights by Laurids Gallée, a sofa designed to mimic an embrace by Pearson Lloyd, and a pavilion clad in oyster shell terrazzo by Besley & Spresser.

The Dezeen Awards 2026, in partnership with Trimble, announced all shortlists this week, following architecture and interiors announcements. A design jury, including Martin Lotti and Zandra Rhodes, scored the projects.

Winners will be announced at the Dezeen Awards 2026 party on November 16th at the Royal Opera House in London. The overall design project of the year will be selected from the 16 category winners.

The shortlist spans various categories including furniture, seating, collectible design, bespoke design, lighting, architectural lighting, surface design, textile design, workplace design, and multiple product design categories (consumer, health/wellbeing/wearables, bathroom).

Other categories include graphic design, installation design, sustainable design, and material innovation, showcasing a broad spectrum of design disciplines.

The Dezeen Awards, in its ninth year, partners with Trimble, a technology company focused on hardware and software solutions for design and building industries, to support creative excellence.
