MÖDEK's EVOLUTION Series: A Seamless DJ Console Design

Spanish design studio MÖDEK imagine sound has introduced the EVOLUTION series, a line of DJ consoles designed to integrate a complete DJ setup into a single, continuous white volume. These consoles feature a monocoque body with built-in recesses for equipment and concealed cabling, aiming for a clean and minimalist aesthetic.

The EVOLUTION base model includes a precisely sized recess for two turntables and a mixer, along with an integrated cantilevered laptop tray. This design keeps the working surface visually clear and eliminates visible supports under the laptop. The EVOLUTION PRO model builds upon this structure by adding a raised, transparent acrylic laptop stand above the mixer, creating a second visual layer while maintaining the console's minimal silhouette.

Both models are custom-built to order based on the customer's specific equipment. They are finished in a matte white lacquer with the MÖDEK logo subtly engraved. All cabling for turntables, mixers, and power supplies is routed internally through the monocoque body and exits discreetly at floor level. MÖDEK has partnered with a specialist workshop for nearly two decades for manufacturing.
