Collate Lobby Launches First Edition Collection with 1930s Hotel Suite Theme
Collate Lobby, a new design platform by Collate Form, launched its first collection with over 30 designers. The debut exhibition is a fictional 1930s-inspired hotel suite.

The collection features limited-edition furniture and objects, including a mirror by Jaclyn Pappalardo and a chainmail screen by Edward John Milton. Smaller items like lamps, scarves, and espresso cups are also included.
Founder James Garis created Lobby to help designers test new concepts, acting as a curated platform between a brand and a retailer.
Designers responded to a theme of creating an object for a Parisian "boudoir-like" hotel. Garis worked with them on final product development.
All objects are available to order, with Lobby holding exclusive rights for at least three years. Successful items will join the core collection.
Garis aims for a fair model, allowing designers to pursue successful ideas elsewhere if they don't work with Lobby.
The exhibition at Yorkton Workshops showcases over 40 objects, highlighting art-deco styles and material experimentation.
The exhibition runs from September 12 to 20 as part of London Design Festival.
