Boavista 339 Residential Building

PAULO MERLINI architects designed the Boavista 339 Residential Building in Porto, Portugal, completed in 2023. The project features studio and one-bedroom apartments.

The building is situated on a plot measuring 650 m², with a narrow street frontage of 5.50m and a rear elevation of only 2.00m wide. This peculiar configuration presented a significant challenge for the design.

The clients' primary goal was to develop a residential structure offering studio and one-bedroom apartment units within the constraints of the small and unusually shaped plot.
