ArchDaily Next Practices Awards 2026: Meet the Jury

The ArchDaily Next Practices Awards, established in 2020, recognize innovative architecture practices. The 6th edition has announced its jury, comprising experts from diverse global regions and disciplines, including architects, landscape practitioners, preservation specialists, and institutional leaders.

The awards spotlight practices redefining architecture through values like contextual sensitivity, sustainable materials, community co-creation, experimental approaches, heritage preservation, social responsibility, and human-scale interventions. The program aims to identify solutions for current challenges and anticipate future needs, fostering a more resilient architectural future.

The jury for the 6th edition includes Sumayya Vally, principal of Counterspace, known for her work on hybrid identities and spatial relationships, and the youngest architect commissioned for the Serpentine Pavilion. Susana Rojas Saviñón, co-founder of Estudio Ome and a previous Next Practices winner, brings expertise in landscape architecture. Oanh Nguyen Henriksen, Partner and Director of Business Development & Communications at Dorte Mandrup, has extensive experience in market cultivation and strategy for architectural firms.

Nicolas Fayad and Charles Kettaneh, founders of EAST Architecture Studio, are recognized for integrating history and culture through a collaborative approach, having received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture and the AlMusalla Prize. Javier Ors Ausín, Director of Thematic Programs at the World Monuments Fund, specializes in architectural preservation, focusing on modernist architecture, Jewish heritage, and crisis response.

The winners of the 6th ArchDaily Next Practices Awards will be announced in mid-September. This initiative is presented by Buildner, an architecture competition organizer.
