Ammodo Architecture Days to Debut in Amsterdam
Ammodo Architecture is launching its inaugural Architecture Days event in Amsterdam on November 9-10, 2026. The event aims to foster exchange among professionals and communities involved in architecture and urban design.

The two-day program, organized by Ammodo Architecture, will feature a symposium, exhibition, publication launch, and award ceremony at Westergas. It will showcase 49 projects recognized by the Ammodo Architecture Award, grouped under themes like Reclaim, Heritage, and Urban Acupuncture, emphasizing processes and completed works.
Notable featured projects include the Machan_Korail Community Platform in Bangladesh, VinziRast am Land in Austria, and Sustainable Alleys in Ecuador, highlighting community engagement and adaptive reuse.
The symposium on November 10 will include lectures and discussions with prominent figures such as Andrés Jaque, Anupama Kundoo, Floris Alkemade, Loreta Castro Reguera, and Aric Chen.
An exhibition, designed by Thonik, Studio LMNOP, and Fiction Factory, will explore the ideas and processes behind the award-winning projects. This exhibition is planned for international travel after its Amsterdam showing.
A new publication by Hatje Cantz, featuring essays and project analyses, will be launched at the event. The program concludes with an award ceremony for the 2024 and 2025 recipients across Social Architecture, Social Engagement, and Local Scale categories.
Starting in 2026, the Ammodo Architecture Award and Architecture Days will alternate biennially, creating a recurring platform for dialogue among award projects and practitioners.
