US Immigration Policy Jeopardizing Future AI Leadership

Immigrants have significantly contributed to U.S. scientific achievements, accounting for 40% of Nobel Prizes in chemistry, medicine, and physics awarded to Americans since 2000. This reflects a historical openness that fostered U.S. leadership in research. However, continued restrictive immigration policies could erode this advantage.
