Adobe Premiere app now also for Android

Adobe has released its video editing app Premiere for Android, a year after its launch on iOS. The app is free to download, but requires Android 13 and at least 5GB of memory.

The app is designed for both regular smartphones and larger screens of foldable phones. The cheapest Android phones, often with 4GB of memory, will not support the app.

In addition to basic video editing tools, Premiere also offers AI-powered audio correction, such as improving voices and removing background noise.

Adobe states that the app is optimized for smartphones and foldable devices, but less suitable for large tablets and laptops.

The app is available in the Play Store.

Adobe's previous app, Premiere Rush, which has not been available for download since last September, will stop functioning next week. Users must complete and export their projects in Rush.
