Tile of Spain Awards 2026 Now Accepting Submissions

The 25th annual Tile of Spain Awards in Architecture and Interior Design are open for entries, celebrating innovative uses of Spanish ceramic tiles in projects worldwide.

The competition, organized by the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers Association (ASCER), invites architects, interior designers, landscape architects, and decorators of any nationality to submit projects completed between January 2024 and October 2026. Submissions must not have been entered previously.

This year's awards feature subcategories within Architecture and Interior Design, distinguishing between projects using dry-pressed porcelain stoneware (A-a, I-a) and those using other ceramic materials like terracotta or mosaics (A-b, I-b).

A total prize fund of €35,000 is available, with €8,000 allocated for the professional Architecture and Interior Design categories. An additional €3,000 prize is designated for the Master's Thesis Project, recognizing student innovation.

The submission deadline is October 22nd. A judging panel of design industry professionals, to be announced later this year, will assess entries in Castellón, Spain.

Tile of Spain represents over 120 manufacturers and promotes aesthetic and technical advancements in ceramic design. The awards are sponsored by Valenciaport and PwC Spain, with support from the Generalitat Valenciana.
