Dungeons of Daggorath Gets a Modern Makeover
A modder has updated the classic TRS-80 game Dungeons of Daggorath, adding new features and improving controls.

The modifications include joystick support for more efficient movement and a button that acts as a shortcut for attacking. The original game required text commands for actions, which could be shortened but were still cumbersome.
Additionally, two new monsters inspired by DOOM's imp and cacodemon have been added, replacing the original spider and viper enemies. Optional unlimited player health and power settings are also available.
The modder, Nick Bild, has named the modified version "Dungeons of Doom." While the original game's terms prohibit redistribution of modified code, Bild's changes are described as simple enough to replicate, especially for those familiar with older programming methods.
